Having held various MIS positions within
several prominent travel management firms, Dave Wood recognized
a huge need for affordable products that could
interface with the GDS and automate time-consuming functions.
In 1994, Dave founded Trondent Development Corp. In building his
business, he soon realized the need to balance his
strong technical and systems development expertise with experienced
sales support. In 1995, he recruited another industry veteran, Lana
Parro, to be his business partner and head up
Trondent's sales, client relations and marketing efforts. Lana
brought additional industry experience from her years in airline,
agency and group travel organizations. Within a few
short years and several innovative product launches, Trondent
has become one of the leading providers of software applications
to the travel industry. Today Trondent employs dedicated staff
in product development, programming, customer service and sales
and marketing.
