NEW YORK, March 24, 2003 - In this heightened era of security, Trondent Development Corp. and Hi-Mark Software have partnered to help corporations safeguard their employees by tracking their whereabouts as they travel.
Under the working relationship, announced today at the Corporate Travel World/Travel Technology World conference, Trondent will provide travel data from the global distribution systems to Hi-Mark Software's WebMan® online travel-management reporting program. As a result, corporate travel managers can instantly determine, for example, if employees are in an area that the U.S. State Department has dubbed high-risk.

WebMan® will integrate Trondent's data to provide clients the same look and feel for both pre-trip and post-trip reporting. Trondent's sophisticated PreTRIP® software will extract PNR data from both booked and ticketed itineraries from all five major GDSs and send the information to Hi-Mark via a secure interface. The pre-trip data is then available for report generation 24 hours per day via Hi-Mark's secure Web site.
Some of the standard applications available on the site include reports on traveler location by city and hotel property, number of travelers per flight, and tickets ordered to U.S. State Department-identified "risk" destinations.
