Oyster Bay, NY: TRAVELSAVERS has teamed up with technology partner Trondent Development Corp to offer its member agencies the Trondent portfolio of mid- and front-office software solutions through a service bureau. The new option helps to increase the bottom line for small and mid-sized independent agencies by lowering their operational costs and boosting efficiencies.
The per transaction fee structure of the service bureau was designed to support those agencies with less corporate volume or those just beginning to build the corporate side of their businesses. This option is significantly more affordable than the more traditional alternative of investing thousands of dollars for software licensing. In addition, special pricing for the service bureau has been arranged for TRAVELSAVERS members.
"By using our products on a per transaction basis, agencies can take advantage of the latest electronic technologies, like e-ticket tracking, to provide full service to their important corporate accounts," said Lana Parro, Chief Operating Officer for Trondent. "Tools like these enable many smaller agencies -- especially those that don't have the resources to hire a dedicated IS staff to implement the newest technologies -- to successfully compete with larger agencies for the lucrative corporate accounts that may have been previously unattainable."
Particularly valuable to agencies that frequently use e-ticket and Web-based technologies, the Trondent portfolio includes products to handle: document delivery, flight availability and pricing, e-ticket tracking, group management, account profitability, and profile maintenance and synchronization. The entire suite is compatible with all CRS' and is easy to install and use.
When a TRAVELSAVERS agency signs on to the service bureau, Trondent commits technical support resources for the 24-hour monitoring of service bureau software and hardware to ensure instant troubleshooting and uninterrupted servicing. A fully staffed Help Desk has also been established to support the initiative.
