The portal creates a centralized profile management system that effectively keeps traveler profiles in sync with multiple travel agencies, on-line booking tools, GDSs and the company's PeopleSoft HR system. The tool implements proven technology that pulls up-to-date profile data into newly created PNRs that were either booked on-line or off-line.
Interpublic decided to partner with profile management specialist, Trondent Development Corp., because of the company's reputation and proven track record in building sophisticated travel tools. HRG (Hogg Robinson Group) has been named the official Travel Management Company for Interpublic in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy and will manage an additional booked air volume of approximately US$20 million in these selected regions.
Some of the features included within the TravelSource profile management system are:

· Automatic e-mail notification advising travelers that a profile has been created
· Profiles contain travel policy rules that are pushed to the GDS and online booking tool
· Credit cards are automatically assigned to each travel component
· Single sign-on between TravelSource and on-line booking system
Trondent's ProFILER Web product currently synchronizes with systems like GetThere, Cliqbook, RESX, e-Travel, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan. Trondent is currently finalizing connectivity with a number of EMEA and Asia Pacific based on-line travel distribution systems, and continues to enhance its data exchange capabilities with systems like SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.
