BARRINGTON, IL - Monday June 28th, 2010 - KIE / Kintetsu International, one of the largest travel management companies in the United States, has implemented Trondent's AirMAIL and AirWEB service to fulfill its itinerary and invoice delivery needs in North America. In close collaboration with KIE, Trondent has deployed highly customized versions of both products that were, according to Trondent, carefully tailored to KIE's specific brand, content and layout specifications. KIE opted for Trondent's advertising-supported TravelGUIDE supplement, which essentially gives KIE the ability to display their own advertisements to travelers within each delivered travel document.

According to KIE, making the shift to electronic document delivery was not just about saving time, cutting costs and eliminating redundant work practices. Branded as ki-eDocs™, and implemented in support of its ongoing Reduce-ology initiative, KIE hopes to eliminate approximately 160,000 paper invoices per year, which roughly equates to five tons of paper. According to KIE, five tons of paper is equal to 150, 26-foot tall, 5.5-inch diameter trees. Those 150 trees can absorb up to two tons of carbon dioxide in just one year.

"Kintetsu International initially approached Trondent with a very specific set of highly customized design specifications" says David Wood, Trondent's President & CEO. "Trondent's goal has always been to maintain a very flexible product infrastructure, thereby allowing us to easily and cost-effectively support AirMAIL and AirWEB customizations that meet our broad and varied customer needs. Ultimately, we were able to effectively meet their requirements and, as a consequence, we are honored to be able to jointly launch ki-eDocs™ and support KIE's overall Reduce-ology campaign", continued Wood.

According to KIE's General Manager of Corporate Sales, Aash Shravah, "this program provides KIE with many possibilities. Now we are proactively moving forward into a new era where we are going to be providing our customers with eco-friendly alternatives to document delivery. No longer do we need to create tons of pages of invoices. Instead, our clients will be able to access all invoices on a traveler level and on a company level online through our ki-eDocs platform. We will be able to eliminate the "lost invoice" issue permanently. Added to that, our travelers will be able to know if they have unused electronic tickets via Trondent's integrated eTRAK system. This helps both our clients & KIE become eco-friendly and eliminates a lot of the day to day issues. With the GDS, not taking a proactive role in this area, KIE is extremely excited to having worked with a partner like Trondent. We have tied this initial phase with our campaign titled Reduce-ology and are looking forward to a lot of good things to come for our extensive customer base."

Trondent's latest document delivery suite of products have been completely redesigned to enhance the overall traveler experience, and now includes a complimentary TravelGUIDE supplement, highlighting current and traveler-centric information about each destination city. Using geo-coding technology, TravelGUIDE provides travelers with a list of local restaurants, venues, events and business services within close proximity of their hotel. Using Trondent's AirWEB site, travelers can set their TravelGUIDE preferences to ensure that the content displayed matches their personal interests for restaurant cuisine, local venues and event interests, imperial vs. metric measurement; etc.

Processing in excess of 45 million transactions each year on behalf of travel management companies and major corporations, document delivery continues to be one of Trondent's core competencies and coupled with TravelGUIDE, allows product users the ability to promote their specific, preferred relationships while simultaneously generating new revenue streams via the advertising platform.
